But not mine… I wanted an HWUA but was too late by the time I had the payment ready. Maybe for my June birthday…And mine!![]()
I have the new boards in, if this circuit works then it's the one I will he using in the HW SS so it's in my best interest to get it verified soon so I can fill the HW SS orders for May. I promise it will happen soon, but I have to finish April out first.I got nothing on order but (im)patiently awaiting the Smoke Signal DOS and the Black Face Baseman.....

If I remember right there were 4 rainbow's end Lab Rats this month, the ones in this picture are just raw and white finishes as those are the only two that get clearcoats. Is there a rainbow's HW Lab Rat? Can't tell on this screen.
Also, we probably need to talk if you've got a sec.
My Black Eye was order #666 and my HWLR is order #999. This seems like more than a post punk coincidence.
Discuss.
Or Pooh,
but never Taz ,,

Also that seems like more than a coincidence, but I assure you nobody messes with order numbers and that is in fact a post punk coincidence.
Thanks for the kind words, I really do appreciate it. I'm not much of a businessman, but I definitely try to err on the side of too much communication rather than risk not having enough. I've had people in industry tell me that I'm "too available" and it's not sustainable on a larger scale operation, so I guess I'm just going to stay as a small-scale operation. Building pedals doesn't pay my bills or put food on the table, so I can run the business however I want.@Sushi Box FX I haven’t placed any orders with you yet, but may I say that the way you conduct your business, the obviously highly respectable quality of product and the conscientious manner in which you take time to keep your customers informed all do you tremendous credit.
It’s great to see someone running a business this way these days; well done, sir. You can expect an order from me here in England at some point, for sure.

I forget. Is there anything adjustable internally on a HW Space Heater?
I'm using it in conjunction with a PJB Bighead HA-1 to beef up the sound coming through the headphones.
But this combo is very volume sensitive -- turning the volume up/down too quickly introduces some unwanted scratchiness that just about tears my ears off.
On the Special Edition (wood panel) HW Space Heater there is not. There is a level-dropping resistor on the bottom side of the board tacked onto the master volume pot and modifying the value of that resistor can manage the overall output volume, but alas this is not very easy or convenient to do. If anyone is interested in trying I would be happy to give you instructions and walk you through doing it.I forget. Is there anything adjustable internally on a HW Space Heater?

The newer HW Space Heaters (April 2022 and onward) have an internal trimpot to set the max output level, so you can easily set it anywhere you want to avoid sonically induced removal of your ears.UH-OH; I just ordered HW Space Heater [May Batch] to use with my PJB HA-1 and Audio Technica ATH-M50X Headphones.
Nathan should I cancel vs try and return? I like my ears on my head![]()
