The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Alright, just closed off ordering for November. There were a total of 33 orders, here's how the spread went:
  • More - 11
  • SMD UA - 7
  • Black Eye II - 4
  • SMD Finally - 2
  • HW Slampegg - 2
  • SMD Slampegg - 1
  • Detective - 1
  • SMD Elementary - 1
  • HW Elementary - 1
  • HW Finally - 1
  • JC Emerald - 1
  • HW Lab Rat - 1
Also I've received a couple emails regarding tracking of October shipments showing as "Moving Through Network - In Transit, Arriving Late". If you're in the US and are seeing this message when you try to track your October shipment please let me know, this seems like it may be affecting multiple packages and I'd like to get a rough idea of how widespread this is so I can talk to USPS about it.

LOL I feel your pain...I am also in limbo, but have embraced it....I lost the order confirmation info with tracking and the order doesn't show when I log into the sushi site......and that last leg across the border into Canuckland>>>>>Montreal always takes a while.....so I'll just enjoy the surprise whenever she lands........

Ouch. ok, I don't feel as bad. I suppose I just had to reach my zen.

It looks like some of the ones that were stuck have started moving again, so hopefully they'll all start getting delivered. USPS sent a generic "we'll look into it and get back to you, but running late means it's still on the way" email.

It's weird, I've never had this many domestic shipments run this late before, especially since I made the switch to priority mail for everything.

And looking through my orders manually I'm seeing 6 HW UA for this month and only 1 SMD UA, I think my automatic spreadsheet that spits out my list is messed up. I'm going to need to check that.

Dang… you’re making me wonder if my choice of a UA was right… any more insight on UA vs Elem? Better yet… any bandwidth for sound clips?!

Alright, I went back through my November list manually, and it turns out there aren't 7 SMD UA's, there are 6 HW UA's and 1 SMD UA. For some reason all UA's got put in as SMD, and if @all_sixes hadn't said anything I wouldn't have caught it until it was WAY too late. So thanks for that!

For all the Inctineo owners out there - what Sushi have you found to pair best? I currently have a Space Heater running into my Inctineo, which is pretty great... but I can't help but wonder if the added EQ of the UA would be a benefit. Or maybe the Elementary? Or do I screw the EQ and double down on tubey goodness with the More?

The Ictineo into the MORE is my current flavor of the month ~ full, rich & powerful. Those into the Finally or JDI are utter perfection with all my basses.

On my recording board I have a Particle Accelerator running into the Ictineo followed by a LBA 2020 and Finally that is scrumptious. I did not find the pairing of the ictineo with the UA all that useful or pleasing YMMV.
