The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Mmkay, just finished revising files for the Venus X enclosure to add the cutout and label for the Ground Lift switch (by popular demand). Should take a few minutes to get the circuit board files updated, then I'll place an order for the first batch of 5 production units to make sure everything is the way it's supposed to be and to get early access units to @TonyP- and the people we've decided to get reviews from.

After that point I'm torn between allowing preordering to raise funds and scraping together what I can from sales of other things to fund the big parts buys needed to get production started.

On that note, if anyone needs any of the following, let me know; they're in-stock and ready to go at discounted prices:
  • HW Lab Rat, stock artwork (x4 available)
  • HW Dr. Wattson, "fancy" prismatic cosmos
  • HW Underground Accelerator, raw/simple artwork
  • Black Eye II, prismatic cosmos
  • Black Eye II, raw/full color (used on my personal board)
  • Echosaurus Valve, raw/full color (used on my personal board)
I have a couple others I'm thinking about letting go of for fundraising purposes, but they're one-offs that need accompanying pictures so you know what they actually are.

Please post a link to the garage sale, dummy me can't seem to find it.
I wasn't able to get them posted yet, I'll get them up in the morning and post the link. I did get pictures of everything though, here's a teaser:

@Sushi Box FX
Just wanted to let you know that my bass player is loving the Particle Accelerator I built. I have a vintage RCA 12AU7 in it since it was what I had in the same room with me when I hurriedly tested it out :) and it has stayed in there. Sounds great. Plan to try it with other tubes, of course, but he loves it and it has taken the place of his "Submarine" pre. He runs it into a 71 Ampeg B-15N with a Padulla bass. Sounds really nice.

I have a JJ 12ax7MG in one of my PA that is my new favorite with my Fretless bass. It has the perfect low mid hump with crystal clear highs that would make a Pedulla Buzz growl nicely.

I'll check one out, though I do have a bunch of vintage tubes in my collection to try.

JJ has been very good, imo, for my use, over a wide array of amps. And really consistent. I have not had QA issues with JJ like some other users whose experiences I've read about.

Hey, there is the garage sale page!
I suppose the lack of a HW UA means that particular item sold before you got them uploaded?
No, I just realized as I was taking pictures that I forgot to plug it in and test that one, obviously if it has issues I don't want to sell it. I'll check today when I get home from work and upload if it's good to go.

I saw a player use an Aguilar chorus pedal to give a kind of hollowbody resonance to a bass instead of a full heavy echo. Does either one of yours in the garage sale able to get that? I realize that's not the intent of chorus/delay pedals that's why I'm asking

You might consider the [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]or [This invalid link has been removed], it is a very versatile and fabulous sounding echo/delay for a bargain price. The lowest speed setting with 1 head engaged add a nice fullness and the age adds a reverbish vibe. It is also able to play as an instrument on it's own by changing the settings.
I have been using one for a year on all sorts of things... and just bought a second at this last chance price.

Echosaurus Valve adds delicious tube input and output stages for extra warmth. Mo' Wasabi!

kinda cheezy sounding today but it was once upon a time cool.
