something even more special(er) happens when the signal goes through two tubes (pre+inverter).
if there were two tubes there could be a switch to either parallel them or serialize them to act as a typical b15 with the proper phase inverter.... which would likely be a little like a more, which is why I was asking.
(if it wasn't actually like a more perhaps it could be a switchable option).
either way the sound would never have any tube rectifier sag to it, but perhaps you could use a filament bulb in the box instead of an LED light so that there would be a little more voltage sag when driven hard...
