the only problems with it that i can see is that it says "prototype" and it's not completed and not in my possession.
 
Sorry if I missed these deets about G-Spegg, but what are the dimensions and what are the slope and inflection point of the fixed HPF?
Enclosure is 4.7 in x 3.7 in x 1.34 in (119 mm x 94 mm x 34 mm). HPF is -6dB per octave below 90Hz, similar to the Noble's rolloff switch.
 
Want to make sure I understand correctly. The dry pass/pre out affects the 1/4 out, which would be to amp or other boxes? If so, then I could run GS to FOH and it not have any effect to my amp or just no pre to amp but still get the tube effect? Either way, this could be awesome for me as I’m now using a BDDI for FOH with the parallel out to amp. By Christmas maybe?

Could this concept also work for say a Super Accelerator (or Large Hadron Collider) or a Super-Sleuth (or Logical Deduction)?

I believe the Finally does exactly as you describe here; the Dry Pass setting allows you to send an unaffected signal to either your amp, or more pedals. The XLR line to FOH will remain fully affected/untouched.

There will likely be a different tonal flavour to the GS as compared to a Finally, but the concept will be largely the same, in terms of how your two lines will sound.

Thanks. I never knew that when I had a Finally. If I got a GS, I think I would run it first after the tuner so only the GS would go to FOH, the do dry pass to send out to rest of board and onto the amp.

But then wouldn't the rest of your pedal board fail to end up in the FOH mix? I suppose you could do a second line out from the amp for a "wet" mix, and ask the FOH tech to blend the two

I’m running a kind of bi setup. Will do as I do now with the BDDI. I run only it to FOH and set for mostly clean. Then chorus/drive/boost run to the amp and I get any drive sounds out of it and it blends in the overall mix going out. Sounds crazy but it works. I may start running the chorus before the DI as well to go out FOH. Still trying to decide on that.
If I did a GS, the only change would be in the FOH.

So does this mean the XLR line out is always going through the tube?

Yes indeed. The Finally has a tube gain stage so you can saturate or push the preamp as hard as you like and have a gain boost as well. Then the signal goes to the superb LBA transformer to the XLR. For the 1/4" out you can choose pass thru as most passive DI boxes offer or have that output from the tube gain circuit for driving an amp, power amp or other devices.
