Are those even made of $47 of parts?
Buying in bulk, especially from China, you can get parts really cheap. Plus design and fabrication labor is cheap. A tube, a PCB, and a handful of parts in an aluminum box? Maybe $20-30 in parts depending on their bulk discounts. Then free shipping to the US, plus they have to pay eBay and PayPal fees. They might profit $5-10 per pedal.

Well I just made a big step I wasn't sure I would ever make: I filed for an LLC. I've sold more pedals in the last couple months than the rest of my pedal-building years combined, so I figured it was time to go legit and give the tax man his due. Also now I can write off the CNC, the UV printer, and all my parts orders as business expenses. Oh, maybe I can write off the Noble and the LA-1A too :p

Congrats, and I blame, well, us! Signing up here was a surefire way to wreck any weekends free of obsessing over pedals, because that's pretty much all we do here.

Those and strings. So when the kids get old enough to hand-wrap roundwound strings, it'll be time for biz launch #2

I'm thinking after adding more toobz, $15 shipped to our door with only a week wait time is a reasonable expectation.
:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Should be doable for sure, I'll shoot for $12 and 5 days.

Seriously though, just got an email from the seller, they seem pretty cool. I'm looking through their other items, not a lot of pedals (though they do have a $47 Woolly Mammoth clone), but lot of cool tube and hi-fi stuff.

It will be tube warmth with volume/gain, probably with a light first stage and heavy second stage so you can get plenty of clean and some break up if you want it.

I just got a PA for April, but I would also buy a tube warmth giver in a heartbeat. I love my Edison running last in chain

This is pretty much my thinking as well, I've got an Accelerator placeholder order for March at the moment. I'd be plenty happy with the PA, but also interested to see if a "tube warmth giver" will be ready by then. :)

I feel oddly tempted to buy this.

For $47, I was having exactly the same thought. Ugh... this thread is not what I should be following right now? lol

5sg,

Hmmm...think I should take the afternoon off from work..
(DDP is a pedal I can reprogram multiple times to behave like all the Robot Butterfly effects so I can record demos)

That Wattson is pretty... Fractured cherry with gold knobs, correct? That's what I've got for my placeholder PA March build.

5sg.
Yup thats it! The fractured cherry actually had a feelable texture to it, its awesome. I can't wait to see how it'll look with the UV printed enclosures

My guess is the Little Bear almost has to be a starved plate design to sell for that little but this is only an “educated ? “ guess on my part .... LOL ! I’d rather wait for the SB “ HEAVY Edisonish “ version when it arrives - no doubt for more dough but way better bang for your buck ! .... Kelly
