Double Bass The Talkbasses v.2 (bass eye candy collection)

Seth Kimmel #25

That's a really beautiful bass; Seth's eye for line and form, tension and resolution is terrific. In the unforgettable words of the OLDGUY, "To the bathroom now - Jesus!" ;)

I love that he doesn't go through the scroll. How well does that extension work?

The extension works great. I haven't had any issues with it. I'm glad I went ahead with it. The low 'C' can really shake the floor. I smile everytime I get to use those low notes.

That's a really beautiful bass

Thanks. I am very happy with this purchase!

Just place a few thick posts of metal inside and it gets rid of the feed back, and it sounds good. The "Angel" has a custom K&K pickup system inside, it sounds a lot better than one would think. I get compliments on its tone often, and it sounds distinctive. It still sounds like a mix between an electric stick bass and acoustic stand-up bass, a lot of tone very deep.

Found this after a year long search for an ebony appointed Kay from the 30's. This one is like all the other M-4's I've seen; Blonde finish, 3 Piece neck with a fully carved scroll, and engraved tuners, but labeled K-Meyer. No neck issues or break.

Thanks. It is one of the cleanest one's I had found. I had Williams Violins in Nashville go through it and do a little edge restoration and a good set up with a new Adj. Bridge, carbon fiber end pin, and guts for some old school thump'n. I'm smiling pretty good these days!:hyper:
