The Tall People Thread- are you one?

I guess I make this thread after a rude awakening/discovery last friday. En route to a local metal show, I was walking through a commuter ferry to Seattle, reflexively ducked the doorway as normal, but WHACK! took one to the head from the doorway I'd miscalculated.

Then, last night I was in the market with my parents and a family friend commented I look taller than I said I was.

After measuring this morning, I think I've grown from 6'7 to 6'8. At 19, I sure hope I don't grow anymore...my brother is 16 and is 6'10 :eek:!

Post your height!

And no, I don't play basketball. :spit::hiding::rollno:

I'm 6'6"

My father is 6'5"

We both had the same experience as you - thought we were done growing by about 18, but then grew about another inch or so between 18 and 20. You are probably done growing now.

side note - at this height, good vs bad posture can easily change your height by an inch or two. Maybe you are the same height as you were a year ago, but you are now used to being this height and are just standing taller. In the past, I've wondered if that isn't what happens with that extra inch tall guys seem to grow between 18 and 20.
