The TB NBA Playoff thread

Wooot. Right from the beginning they were destroying them. 40 points. Holy crap.

You can't expect Battier to go buck wild shooting 50% from 3 every night...but you can bank on Ron Artest's apparent belief that he's an elite shooter.

I think the Lakers lost the last game because of Phil Jackson. He's said before that he doesn't believe in trying to match up when other teams go small against him. So he puts Odom in the starting lineup, and they get spanked because they tried to match up with a team that can't put anyone taller than 6'9" on the floor.

As Sir Charles would say, "You gotta punish them midgets!"

Chipmunk faced Celtic? Pierce? Ha-Ha!!

Pierce gets malled every game!! I know there are bad/missed calls at each end of the floor and every player works the refs, but it seems to me that whoever is playing against Boston gets the benefit of the doubt (I may be biased ;)), especially if Perkins is *trying* to guard him.

In that last game against Chicago I kept track and there were 12 blatantly missed calls against Boston, not just my bias, the replays showed the call to be bad or wrong.

Oh, and Varejao complains/crys plenty.

We'll see. Odom has a bad back, and Fisher doesn't belong in the starting lineup. He's a reliable cover against Sam Cassell, maybe, but not Brooks.

Edit: And, 0-3 notwithstanding, Bynum still doesn't play enough.

Wow man, the Rockets forced a game seven, eh? I can't hardly believe it. I may actually watch that game on Sunday, but only during commercials and intermission of the Detroit/Chicago game.
