So anyway...
I love my MY, AWD, LR more the longer I own it and it’s only going to get better. One advantage, aside from the never having to buy gas, never having to change oil, never having to have the transmission fluids changed or topped up, never having to have the transmission serviced, never having to perform any service at all, ever, except to put on new tires and brakes (and even then infrequently because of regenerative braking,) is the free over-the-air software updates that add new features and enhance existing ones. My 2018 Camry hybrid got a software update when Toyota rolled out Apple Play and Android Play, but I had to take it in to the dealership for it to be performed.
My Tesla doesn’t need Apple Play because it has all of its features, plus a bunch of video games and streaming services - YouTube, Spotify, et. al. - built in. It helps to pass the time while you’re charging.
So there’s that.
