BTW, FYI, I hooked my LMII into my S1 UL310 and it was ridiculous. I know the UL410 is much louder, but I can also see that not being necessary a LOT of times, and you talk about portability!!!!

+1... for all but 'stupid loud', this might be my favorite rig ever... loud enough for 90% of most pop/funk/country gigs, around 55 pounds including bags, covers and cords , and a beautiful, even, clear tone. Really nice.

I really do like the SD800 with the S2 cabs, but there is something about the LMII with the 310ULS1 and 410ULS1 that just sings to me... lot's of growl and warmth, but plenty of low end and sizzle also. Pretty cool.

That 310UL/LMII is pretty darn good sounding if you like 'solid state but not total hi fi' tone IMO and IME.

Just checked the tracking and my S1 UL-310 should be here by Friday!!! I'm really about this setup.

TBer xqusemuah shipped it out lightning quick after the payment, so I just might have it this Friday. It's my first year wedding anniversary, so I won't get much time with the cab - but I'm okay with that.

Not sure if you're stating this as a positive or a negative, but in the case that it's a negative, despite all the GC bashing that goes on here, and maybe a lot of it's justified, I had no problems with them whatsoever on my LMII.

As stated, the LMII is by far their best value, and the "cheapest" thing I'd ever buy from them. Whatever it is about this amp that's "more than you need" should just be considered happy headroom for free, 'cause IMHO, no other amp this truly gigworthy will be cheaper... from any manufacturer... and definitely not be this lightweight and portable.

From both an economical as well as practical standpoint, this deal is incredibly hard to top... incredibly hard.

I was looking at the LMII and Aguiar AG500. Seems like the LMII is the best bet. I was going to wait til this winter to get one, but you guys are killing me with the gas.

I stated it without thinking about positives or negatives. I never have problems at GC...they treat me VERY well there. They are letting me have a loaner LMII until my F1 finally comes in...then i can A/B them and take home the winner. If I decide the F1, all of my $600 that I paid for the LMII will go towards it no questions asked...pretty cool!

The AG500 is twice as much as the LMII. So I'm confused when you were talking about the LMII being too much money...

I was actually A/B the exact same amps...and I went with the LMII. The AG500 is awesome, but not nearly as awesome as my Aggie DB-359. The added price didn't justify it's expense over the LMII either...since I could get the same tones out of it...except for the drive channel that is...

There is no contest between those two. Are you looking at the GS or the DB cabs?

I played an AG500 through the DB210. Oh my god! It was tonal nirvana!

The main issue I see with waiting until winter (if you actually have to) is I seriously doubt it'll be any cheaper. I could see it swinging the other way.

Just 2 more days til I get a brand new LMII... I'm so excited! hehee

Until I upgrade my cabinets, I'll just be playing through an icky SteelSound 2x10 and a Yamaha 18" PA cab.... I also have another SteelSound 2x10 but it gets used mostly as an extension cab for our guitarist or our singer. I also have my 1974 Traynor YCV-18 at home that apparently was originally made for bass guitar but is now just sitting in my living room. I put the original Cerwin Vega speaker back in and it works fine, but thanks to the advice of people on this forum, i'm going to be giving up trying to use 18s. I did really like the sound of the MarkBass 151HF I first tried the LMII out with, so I may pick up one of those in a month or two. In the meantime, someone offered to sell me a Bergantino HT210 for a very good price... I know Bergs are amazing cabinets; can anyone here tell me what they think of a LMII + HT210 pairing?

I've read reviews of the cabinet, and it almost seems as if the LMII plus the Berg at 8-ohms will sound deeper and louder (and much better of course) than the 2x10 + 1x18 4-ohm load i have on my Behringer BX4500H currently, just because of the quality of amp + cab.
