It's a good evening for a gig (small club, maybe 200 people, with FOH). Doing a little A/B testing during soundcheck.

not sure if it's has all original tubes.
Any idea on what they should be?

The original tubes were EL34. Over the years we have found the tubes did not last as long as we liked, so we now recommend KT88 tubes.

I find the "Golden" Tung Sol 12AX7 to be the only upgrade on the preamp side with EVERY amp I have/had.

Well, the original SA200 chassis did allow for 6550's, so if Roger says it'll drive KT88's, then maybe I'll give that a try.
