The Un-Official Sadowsky SA200 Thread...

I can't see them sounding that much different from the HS410, though I do not doubt you are hearing something there (i.e., i don't think you're crazy joker..just that i need the modularity!)

i think the moral of this story is to just PM tombowlus. he's had all these cabs, and he loves his sa200. he'd know best.

After having played different amps in the meantime (ShuttleMAx 9.2, Streamliner600, TH500, MoMark TA500, ...) only one amp came to close to giving me as much oomph as my SA200. (my Ashdown ABM500 EVOII)

But last rehearsal I played the SA200 again..... and man, what a joy!!!
No amp I ever played comes close to this one :)

I am so glad I keep resisting the urge to sell it for big bucks!

I've so wanted one since I played the one at Sadowsky in the listening room.

Sorry for bumping up this old thread.

Has there been any conversation about trying to make Koch/Sadowsky make a new limited run of the SA200?

If only 100 were made, I'm guessing there would be quite a bit of interest for this.

Maybe get a direct contact with Koch ( I read that they were the manufacturer ).

And;

Am I crazy ?

I appreciate everyone's kind comments about the SA200. One of the problems is that when I did this project with Koch, the dollar and the euro were at 1-1. Now, the SA200 would be even more expensive! And most everyone today still wants small, lightweight heads. I would certainly love to make it happen, but it might require an angel investor!
