Thanks! I think so too!Have you ever tried it with 2 Orange 1x15's?
I have not, though I bet it would sound great!

Thanks! I think so too!Have you ever tried it with 2 Orange 1x15's? Tried it with one and was quite impressed, but didn't like the 4x10 that much. I will probably sell my 410HLF and look for something else, I'll probably end up with a Berg cab (HS410 or NV610/412) allthough they are quite expensive in Europe.

My SA200 came with its own 4U rack case with Sadowsky painted on the top. But, the rack is wider than my EA cabinets so I took it out.

]I wondered who would catch that, TOM! ...and I thought you might notice that the carpet was not yours this time. Did you see the knobs on the SA200?
...a shootout?

In order to bump this thread:
Here's a brand new pic with my first passive P:
LOG2010 55-64 by Lakland:
Are most of you guys gigging the SA200?
Also, besides joker (who I know really prefers the SA410) and gilletto (who prefers the DB 212) what cabs is everyone using with the SA200? Seems like most would use the Sadowsky Audio cabs...or at least the HS cabs from Bergantino?
I gig it with a Bergantino HS410 cab.
Spencer have you used/tried two HS210's or the DB 112 cabs with the SA200?
This is a copy of an email response to ac3320 asking why I preferred the db212 over the SA410:
I am aware that the SA410 was made to go with the SA200 and I knew my db212 choice would be questionned here on this thread.
I got the SA410 in the first place because of what I read about it before I even got the SA200. I used it with a Weber Mywatt 200 (Hiwatt clone) and an Ampeg V4B before I got the SA200.
I never got it to sound "right" to my years (although I am a "Sadowsky-holic").
I know there is some talk here on TB about not attributing a specific sound to a certain speaker size, but everytime I am using 12" speakers (vs 10"), it just feels right to me.
My experience includes the SWR Redhead (10"), Eden MBX (10"), Ampeg 810, Bergantino HS210 , early Hartke 410XL, vs. Fender Bassman 412 cab, Eden XLT212, Aguilar GS112 (stock and DeltaLite), GS212, db 112 & 212 .
That being said, I like all my amps (SA200, Hartke LH-500, Markbass SA450, Aguilar db750) thru the db212. I suppose I will also like the incoming GB Streamliner.
I suppose the typical 12" low mids speak better to me than other speakers.
hey ac,
guess i'll just answer here for the benefit of the thread.
again, loved the HS210 by itself, and the HS410 was ok, but a pair of HS210's didnt rock me, only cause that punch and heft i felt in one cab was sorely lacking in the HS210 pair. its like the rig needed more power to really make the pair sing.
with that said, i'm thinking an even more aggressively voiced pair of cabs would do a better job. the middle mids in the HS series arent as strong as some other cabs i.e. the DB series you're looking at. they might be a good ticket to ride. but dont quote me on that, cause i cant stand the DB112's. they seem to make everything from your bass to the head all sound the same. if you love that sound, then dive in.
and despite trying nearly every cab under the sun, needless to say, feel like the SA series of cabs sound best. perfect marriage of lower end tightness, lower mid punch, middle chew, etc. when i got the SA210, i immediately put my HS210 for sale. and i have yet to hear a cab better than my SA410. put them together and HOLYEFFINGCRAP.
