i really admire your committment to quality. That IS the way to do business. good on ya.

however, have you considered putting a new neck on the bass and selling it? That trans-white finish is soo HOTT.

I was thinking the same thing. I'd hate for you to eat the cost of a bass because of another luthier's QC issues.

The neck is playable so it will be my main bass for now. No use having a playable neck laying around staring at me in my shop begging to be assembled. LOL

At this time the blocks are not available. This bass was one of 2 that I sent the neck to a luthier to install the blocks.

The turnaround time was more than 3x what was quoted and this neck did not meet my quality standards forcing me to keep it.

With the economic hardships, I'd really rather not keep a bass but I don't want to sell a bass I wasn't happy with. That's life, I guess.

My Valenti #72 is my number one bass. I can't bring myself to use any other.

I just wanted to swing through and let the Valenti club know they could add another member;
I picked up Valenti #081, and what an incredible bass! The spalted maple is absolutely beautiful! Everything about this bass is just first class. Thanks Nino!
The Big Singles with the OBP-3 is such a cool combo. I'm having a lot of fun with this bass so far!

My number 11 had 24 frets and was a 5 string

Steve, your bass was built with Warmoth parts and IMO, the 23rd and 24th fret were pretty hard to reach because the lower horn cutaway on the body was the same for their 22 fret neck.
