I took pictures of a couple of basses and my cat had to step in and hog the spotlight.

OK; here's my Geddy Vee:

It came to me with the original OBP3 (pictured) gone, and an audere in there. Which, I think, sucked with the Nord Big Singles.
So, I got one of Nordstrands new preamps and put in there. Which is freakin' stellar y'all!

But, now I have a control plate with two extra holes from the led and z-mode switch.

Is this a standard J control plate I can replace with one from allparts or bestbassgear or the likes?

FWIW, I've seen at least three different versions of a 51 tele control plate (slightly different shapes and hole locations) but the Jazz control plates seem to be pretty standard so you should be fine.

This is the best bass I've ever owned, ever played. For a while I've been meaning to thank AJ Brown, juanete, fitbass3p and Fretless5verfan, all stalwarts in the TB community, for selling this bass at some point in their lives, thus bringing it to me here in Milwaukee. I'm beyond happy to own it. I would also like to thank Nino for cutting a new pick guard for it.

Recommendation: If you ever have a shot to play a Nino Valenti bass, do it. Seriously.
