I notice the original thread says these were Fatstack pick ups but the Ad says big singles...Anyone know which is right I am assuming they are the original fatstacks and someone has just gone by a pic or has someone here swapped them out?

I just pulled out my original order form for that bass and it indeed does have Fat Stacks with 2 push/pull to switch to single coil operation.

Yeah I couldnt pass it up....I will try it with fatstacks (my KL has fatstacks) but I may change them to big singles.

Actually, I was wondering if he really was. I sent him a spec for a quote request to have my 51P refinished about 2 months ago and he never responded. Oh well.

If it's #25 that bass was originally made for me. The chunky neck profile is what lead to that one going away but it's a great bass. I believe the bass was 34" scale...the ebay listing has it as 35"...I think that's wrong. I don't do 35" and would not have ordered it that way.

Yep Nino said it was a 34" The seller hadnt measured himself I believe its what he was told when he got it.

I do not do refinishing. Your best best would be to contact Pat Wilkins of Wilkins Guitar Finishing or Jerry Dorsch of Graphite Guitar Systems. Between the 2 of them, they do finishing for, me, Sadowsky, Lakland, Lull, Modulus and many others.
