Are you getting a 34" or 35" neck?

34". my sadowsky is 34" and i feel comfortable on it. No need to fix something that works

Just to add to the good news of getting a Valenti, you won't be disappointed. I was up in the air about either getting a Valenti or a Sadowsky M5-24. I wanted the Sadowsky quality and feel but I wanted a birdseye neck and fretboard without forking over $3000-$4000. I must say that when I got my Valenti I was pleasantly surprised with the feel and tone, plus the fact that my bass in particular is lighter than any Sadowsky Metro I've played. Even the guy who does my set ups was stunned that my bass didn't have a chambered body, just a nice piece of swamp ash.

Does Nino do any 35's?

Yes, there's an option of either 34" or 35", at least there was last year. I had originally ordered mine as a 35" but a week later I changed my mind to 34" and he was cool with it. A month later I decided to change the color and he was still cool with it.

mine is gonna be 5-6 months but thats with a blocked and bound neck. still its alot better than the 10 months i had to wait for my sadowsky. 10 months feels like such a very long time... That being said it was worth the wait. The 5-6 seems so much easier to deal with.

Are the bodies used for the Valenti J5's here like "Fender US Standard" sized? Or are they sort of downsized like Sad's? Just curious =).

I think mine only took four and a half months from the day I sent my first deposit to delivery but mine wasn't to out of the ordinary, EMG pups, Aggie preamp, etc.
