The Valenti Megathread Part III

Jared, out of curiosity, do you have #105 or #106? It isn't in the gallery yet (#104 is the latest one showing), and mine will be #107. Like I said, just curious.

I honestly don't know, I'd have to ask Nino. What I do know is that it looks even better than in the pictures. The Chromes still have that new brightness to them and it sounds good now, but when they settle in it will sound phenomenal too.

Jared' bass is #105

#106 is going to be a Black P5 with Black Block inlays for TBer grayta.

I've had 4 Valenti basses now.
If you've been thinking about trying one, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Nino has always been great to work with, and I've really enjoyed all his basses.

I was probably dumb to let the GeddyVee#18 go, but I really like #46 for my current uses...

I am pretty glad so far that I chose to order a Valenti. I bet it will meet and far exceed my expectations.

If #107 is already been handed out, I would bet I am anywhere between 108 and 110, but you never know.

Best,
Justin

When will we see a Valenti 6er?
I got 3 Valenis and One day I will get one built for me from scratch (whenever I can afford one brand new :( ) but there will be a day!!!

Aaaaahhhhh, the million dollar question! Come'on, Nino... let's get a 6'er in the works! 19mm spacing - let's compete with Atelier, etc...

:bassist:

I plan on ordering a Valenti 5er right after I get to sell my Ibanez BTB575FM. I bought this bass for 550 bucks on GC, and I could sell it here in Brazil for R$3000 (1700 dollars)

Here are the specs of my dream Valenti:

"The Jazz From Hell"

Passive Jazz, 34" 5 string
Nordstrand big singles
EADGC
Ash body
Fretted birdseye maple fretboard w/ side dots
Maple neck
Transparent Red
No pickguard
Chrome hardware, chrome knobs (Bridge V/T, Neck V/T) and chrome pickup cover
HipShot D-tuner

I like those specs, Marco. It'd be a great looking bass. Let us know if you decide to place the order.

Thanks.

The only thing I'm worried about is the price on international shipment. Shipping from NY to a city 1300 miles
away from Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro won't be cheap. :bawl: Maybe if it's completed by July of any year, I
could manage to pick it up in NY. But I'll think 'bout that later.

I'd better start saving ;)

Marko, I'm sure you could pick it up. If you could switch your travel plans to the first week of August, there is an TB international Get To Together that Nino ususally makes it to.

Unfortunately, that's impossible. I've got major tests in August...

But I'm going to FL someday between March and April of 2011. If it's a 4 month wait for the bass, I could order it in March and have my guitard pick it up in July. His mom owns a travel agency, and they always travel to NY in July.
