Great video. I loved hearing all the talk of starting off and working at Sadowsky... been curious as to how all that went down.

Congrats on all your success, Nino! I was thumping around earlier today on the blue P-Bass you built me last year... and it still SLAYS! If money were no object, I'd have you build a 5-string with the EXACT SAME pickups, electronics and especially, the switching. Love it, love it, love it.

Ok, finally got to play one of my Valentis with the band. The verdict is.....love it

TBH playing solo the Aggie super singles were just ok to me. I preferred the Nordstrand fat stacks in my Valenti 5 String. I took the Valenti to rehearsal to see how the Super singles would sound in a band mix. Very good results. I was able to cut when I needed to and I was able to dial in all the tones I needed.

ive read that the Aguilar OB1 pre is similar to Sadowskys Pre, I would disagree they both have their own flavors. I would agree they are both boost only circuits but both sound great.

Took the girls out last night. Halloween party. It was a blast! Hope to have some video up soon.

I don't think there will be a price increase in 2021. Usually by now, I've gotten notification of increases from suppliers and I haven't received anything... yet.

The Verrazzano Series is essentially the Special Run. Limited options, made in USA. In 2021, I will be releasing a 21F Traditional Styled P Verrazzano and all Verrazzano series will be available with more pickup options. They start at $800 less than a similar Custom Series bass.

I know this goes against what seems to be the majority... but with a rosewood board and a Fender custom color on the body, I think a natural headstock is a classic look. I especially like it when that headstock is nice and dark... has a honey-colored tint. Man, that's just too cool.

Back in the day, those natural / nitro head stocks used to absorb tobacco smoke in clubs at a steady rate, leading to a golden patina that is darker at its edges. If you’ve owned one, you know also that the smoke smell never really goes away, and seems to meld with the finish itself. That genuine on-the-gig life experience cannot be “reliced”. The look maybe, the aroma ...never!

Luckily smoking in bars and restaurants had already been outlawed here by the time I got my nitro Fender. I used to sometimes play that bass at a local smoked meat joint, however, and ugh - the smell of that smoked meat would stay with the bass for days afterwards. Being a vegetarian I found this to be especially unappealing. :eek: :laugh:

Being a smoked meat lover, I LOVE Montreal! ...or used to, back when I could go there :bored:.
