great playing and tone. Are the super singles loud (hum wise)

The super singles are quiet in my opinion as far as hum or any other extraneous noise. I am pleasantly suprised by mine! I wanted a jazz but with a little more beef and that is definitely what I got!

I’ve been looking for a bag or case solution have have tried a bunch. Soft/hard cases withbmy metro express , mono sleeve, gator transit pretty nice case with good storage. Valenti logo looks sharp too

My first Valenti 5 string. I must say I’m Very happy. B string is nice and clear. I’m digging the Fat stack pickups. I’ll be on a bass buying hiatus till my custom gets finished next year lol

Fat Stacks are sweet... lots of great low mids and switchable to humbucking if you should ever need it.

Which preamp did you go with?

yeah the fat stacks are very warm

I went with the Nordstrand 2b preamp

Anyone with the Aguilar super singles care to share the settings you are running. Seems to be pretty versatile even with the obp1

I mainly run mine either both pickups full (center detent) or slightly pushed toward the neck. In active mode I sometimes boost the bass just a smidge depending on the room (OBP-1 as well). Very rarely do I have to push the highs with the Super Singles. Most times though I go passive.

I put some fat stacks in a Sadowsky modern that I used to own and it completely changed it, for the better.

I’ve gone through lots of pickup swaps, and those pickups are probably my favorite of all time.

thanks for the reply. Did you have the EMG or SD soap bars in the modern. I have a recent model and am happy with the pickups

thanks. I run mine close to middle but normally am leaning towards slight neck or bridge. A little bit of bass boost and no treble.

I was curious as if there was a setting here like the Sadowsky’s pres. If you roll off the vtc and boost treble slightly it pleasing. I haven’t got the exact same results so was curious what everyone was doing
