That is just sexy!! Black n' maple is always classy, but that stripe around yours is just a whole 'nother level of awesome! I wish it was still an option...

I just purchased his beauty from @Nino Valenti last week. I have to say, this is one of the best basses I have ever played. The neck is smooth and the nordy big singles are my new favorite pickups. This bass is #194. I believe this is the newest bass that he has completed. The bass has a birds eye maple neck with black blocks and binding, black hipshot hardware, and nordy 2B pre. Now, on to the pics!

When I bought it he told me he had just completed it the week before.

That has nothing to do with the number. If he has customer basses to complete, he will do those first. So, technically #202 could have been completed before #199

Also, I believe Nino will allow customers to pick an upcoming SN. I.e. I guess I might have been able to get #200 if I asked/cared.

That's what I called it.

I thought it might look cool (saw something kinda similar on an older Brubaker) and asked Nino to build it. Nino and Pat Wilkins nailed it IMO. Exactly what I envisioned.
