Nope! MY band.;) If I feel like playing a pointy BC Rich, a Kala U bass or hollow body Hofner, I damned will!:wacky:
No, That's not how it works..... You need a bass like this. I'll be using this one tonight with my STP tribute band tonight.

Unbelievable, dude. That baby looks amazing.

Got Valenti #202 today and all I can say is WOW! Looks and plays better than I could have ever imagined. It's just absolutely exquisite! Took a break from playing to snap a few iPhone pics. I did use a filter to give a better idea of some of the figuring that is hard to capture. Thank you, Nino!!!

We did a one hour set last night at a fundraiser for wounded soldiers and the Valenti got the call.

FOH and a crappy Traynor bass combo with a Radial DI were provided, but it was cool to show up 15 minutes before start time with only a bass and a cable, plug in and start playing.

Big crowd with a few musician friends in attendance. Feedback on my bass tone was all positive. Apparently the Valenti sounded unbelievable. The more I play this bass, the more I like it.

In any case, the few cell phone pics my wife took turned out terrible, but here is a crappy pic of the whiteburst out in the wild....

I've had mostly drumming gigs the last month and a half so last night was the first time Valenti #202 was gigged - it didn't disappoint. Wow. Just wow. What a fantastically awesome bass! Paired with a new Mesa Subway D-800 and a Berg CN212 made it even better. :bassist:

While packing up, I noticed that my Valenti gig bag and regular Protec Contego gig bag are different - the Valenti won't fit in the regular Protec Contego as it's not long enough.

My bass guitar, which was stolen along with our band's entire trailer of gear in 2013, has shown up in a pawn shop in Oklahoma City (where it was stolen originally). It has been a very long, frustrating process and a lot of phone calls with police officers, detectives, courts and the pawn shop. After all this, it does not look like I will be getting it back, at least without buying it. According to Oklahoma law, I need a court order telling the pawn shop to give it back. The problem is without someone to charge, the court will not issue me an order. The person who pawned it is clean and bought it from someone else, which ended up being a dead end when the police investigated. So I have my bass, which I can prove 100 times over that it's mine, 3.5 hours away and there's nothing I can do about it except spend the money to buy it (which I've already done when I bought it originally). The pawn shop could just give it back if they wanted to, but they are invested in it as well so they don't want to be out the money, which I do understand. It's just an awful, frustrating and ridiculous situation! Below is a couple pics of me playing the beautiful bass.

Same thing happened to a guitar player I played with. His original 62 Strat was stolen, the cops knew the guy who stole it and they did nothing about it after several court appearances. Justice is very strange. The innocent are the victims with little recourse.

Do not feel bad for the pawn shop this is the risk they take being in that kind of business. I also would not consider buying it back if you spend any money spend it on a lawyer.

Good luck

The problem is that you're the only person who knows the bass was stolen. The pawn shop doesn't and neither do the Oklahoma cops. As unfair as it is to you, that's the issue.

Do you have a copy of a police report you filed when the bass was stolen from you, with pix and serial number? That would at least establish your loss.
