What they have in common:
-Ash body
-Maple Neck
-Ebony Board

-Black HipShot Hardware(UltraLights and B-Bridge)
-19mm Spacing
-34" scale

How they differ:
Trans Black has Flamed Maple top
Gun Metal has no top

I'm sure there are some that would question my sanity at having what would, ostensibly, be 3 matching basses, but there is a method to my madness. I missed this weekends gigs, but, hopefully, I'll have them for next weekend...

Nino even threw in a couple of goodies...

I sent Nino an email and I let him know how happy I am. I really don't think I could be any more pleased than I am right now. Even though he's gonna have one more to do for me, and my pedalboard isn't quite done, I am, in all honesty, damn near GAS free!

As an added bonus, 207 & 208 are a bit lighter than 197! That makes me very happy...

I'll post better pics in a few days.

Ok. I played this bass yesterday. I'm in total shock. Nothing can't come close to Aguilar jazz pickups. I had a set of Bartolini jazz in my other jazz bass the the Aguilar have way more of what I like. These things got some serious booty.

Still trying to decide if I should go with the OBP-3, Nordstrand, or Audere preamp.

This is excellent. Pearloid guard goes with the blocks, and the black+bound body is classy. Very nice.
