Okay, I got my bass this morning. Nino's serious when it comes to packing! Aces! That box could've thrown off the truck, and the bass would've been fine. Also, the pictures don't do this bass any justice. This thing very nice! I'll post pix in a bit.

I initially wanted a Sadowsky set up, but I feel Nino made the right choice with the Aggies. This bass sounds amazing.

I got called for a Christmas gig that is stylistically all over the place, including some jazz-ish DB, some TSO and Chicago!
Two or three of the tunes are very old-school sounding, so last night I slapped a set of Labella flatwounds on the Valenti. I typically am not a huge fan of flats, but I have to say that this bass sounds pretty cool with them on it and the feel is very nice. I don't know if I will keep them on long term, but I believe that they are going to work very well for this gig.
