So who currently owns the Geddy Vee with the matching headstock? guy n. cognito was the last person I knew of, but he sold it and I didn't know where it ended up.

Only things left to decide are scale lenght and bridge.

J width maple neck with maple fretboard
No dots, side dots only
21 frets
Contoured heel for easier acces
Lower cutaway cut until 21st fret
Passive with volume control only
Input jack mounted on pickguard
Nordstrand NP4 pickup
Single ply matte black pickguard
Black Hardware

Bridge ???
Scale length???

Fingerboard radius???

I know now:

12" radius, 34" scale length
Black dots, black side dots
21 frets
Contoured heel for easier acces
Lower cutaway cut until 21st fret
Passive with volume control only (500k pot)
Input jack mounted on pickguard

Does anyone know if nitro finishes are available?

Another question for Nino...

The heel can be contoured for better acces to the upper frets... But can the lower cutaway be contoured/cut deeper for easier acces to the upper frets too? How far can they be cut? I mean until which fret?
This is something I've been working on. I'm going to try to have it so you can easily reach the 21 fret.

#18 is my first foray into the world of anything more than 4 strings and I'm over the moon with this one. Very comfortable neck - playability is second to none. If there's anything better I'm not sure I want to know about it. This is the only 5 I own and at this point I can't see that changing! Very cool bass and I'm over the moon to have it.

Hey Bryan, I think he's trying to say he's "over the moon" and it should be in the classifieds next week.:p

Just ribbing ya, man. That's a sweet bass you got there. Congrats!!

I guess my nickname should be "moon unit" now. <g>
