How do you like the combination of alder body and ebony board with the Nordstrand pickups?
I have the black P4 in my hands! I can see what everyone was raving about at the GTG. This is a plain ol' sweet @$$ bass.

You need to post more of the P. I'm a sucker for a black/black/rosewood but black/black/maple will do just fine thanks! lol
I like the combo and I also like an ash body / rosewood board combo too... To my ears the alder/rosewood is a little too dark and ash/maple alittle too bright, but these combos and my alder/ebony are a nice compromise... I've been thinking of getting something with a maple board, but this just came along and fits in better with what I wanted....
I love the Nordstrands... Between the bass/treble controls and the series/single/parallel switch it's very versatile.. Very organic with the EQ complimenting the pickups...
I'm thinking of trying out the Fatstacks as well...
I also have to add that Nino builds a nice instrument... Great customer service as well.. Thats something that means alot to me as well.. I've been enjoying the hell out of this bass!!

One of my 'de facto' wood preferences is mahogany body with an ebony board, but I have found love in lots of different wood combinations, depending upon the luthier, pickups, electronics, etc.
