Might sound weird but does anyone have pics of the knobs before and after it was "Push/Pulled" which I assume is an alternative to mini-toggles. Right?

The Knob? In my experience, all knobs will eventually get loose.

... this is the finest P-Bass I have ever played.

I think the thing I dig about this bass is, in passive mode, it sounds like a "Classic" P-Bass ... the Nordstrands do it exactly right. When you go active, the Aggie takes the sound to a whole 'nother plane. I have yet to figure out how to describe the active tone ... it's just something ELSE ... punch for days!

Nope. The pots. They're the one that is getting "Push/Pull"-ed right?

They're as prone to get loose as a standard pot. If its' screwed on tightly with a lock washer, you shouldn't have any problems.

...and I have one on order. It would be interesting to see how many of us have both a Skjold and a Valenti. I am not sure whether that would amount to a strong endorsement of those two guys, of us, or of the marketing power of Talkbass.

They both build great basses, which is why I hope to also join the ranks of Skjold/Valenti owners.

I really need to try a Skjold. They sound like such powerful instruments!

On a Valenti-note, I got my J5 back today! Haven't checked it out yet (still at work) but i'm hoping the new guard and pre do wonders for it

Also, when all falls into place I'll be the new owner of the P4 that was at the GTG! (my FOURTH Valenti btw )
