I love my skjold, its the most comfortable bass i've ever played. the sound is killer as well, it can sit nicely in the mix or rip through it
after my bongo sells i'm strongly considering a valenti or lakland or used sadowsky metro...but i'm leaning towards the valenti due to this thread =)

Hey Steve, aren't you selling the Blue P (005)? You'll be even with Drew.
I'm selling it in that way where you post it and then hide the thread just to say to the missus you made an effort but no one wants it.
A change/difference in the emphasis in the mid frequencies from one frequency center to another between two comparable products.
In one position the knob cuts or boost at 400hz. the other position it cuts or boost at 800 hz.

Here are some clips of the oly' white P/Jazz body Valenti.... i'm pretty sure it's the same one. Nice bass.
Received #027 on Friday (Thanks Andrew Jones). Felt great the moment I lifted it out of the bag. Tone is superb, especially when passive.

That's a great bass. I had it for about two months, and it was killer. Congrats.
I thought I'd randomly comment on how awesome my Valenti is lol.
This bass feels and sounds like something that costs 4 times as much. It sits perfectly in every setting I've tried it in. Funk, Jazz, Soul, Rock, Metal, you name it. A knob twist here and there, and BOOM. Perfect tone. I LOVE THIS THING!!!!

How you diggin' that NP5? That has to be one of my favorite pick-ups of all time.
Great pickups. After a short stint with EMG's I always went with Barto's but after this bass I'm a huge fan of the Norsdstrands.
Really liking this bass, especially passive.
Go for it... I'm really lovin #41...
