Oh, I am so geeked out right now. Nino, that is looking great! You wire a control cavity better than anyone else in the business. Totally clean.

we found out one of Nino's tricks...

if he's doing a back-routed bass (no control plate) he wires everything to a mockup scrap piece of pickguard first. He then gets everything soldered up and PERFECT (yes, perfect), before he mounts the pots to the bass...

From what I see, Nino is a an absolute detail FREAK! that's what makes his work so darn SWEET!

Hate to tell you, but you built that one backwards :hiding: :D

but really, great looking bass....I still want to get my hands on one of your basses someday Nino...

The photo was probably shot in a mirror. That would explain it right? Oh, I mean ... left. :p

What PU's and Preamp are you using in that bass Nino?

I really like the trans white with Tort PG. I'm equally surprised how well the Maple/White Blocks FB looks against that. Usually I prefer a Rosewood FB with Blocks against a Tort PG. VERY Cool bass Nino!!!!

Nordstrand Big Singles w/an Audere 3ZB preamp.

I agree, it looks really nice together but, as much as I would like to, I can't take credit for that. That's how the customer ordered it. :)

Nino,
Everything I'd seen here has been ultra clean and beautiful in terms of craftsmanship. But, I'm still left wondering why your control plates don't follow the curvature of the bodies?

I'm not trying to pick a fight, but I think your basses would look more cohesive if that control plate sloped/curved more, so as to mimic the curvature of the body of the basses. And also the beautiful curve of your headstocks.

It seems to me like you need to get away from the sadowsky plate and peruse your own vision.

Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work.

Matt
