The Walking Dead Series 2

Tonight was definitely a weird episode. Close to nothing happened in the timeline, but at the same time, there were a couple of very important occurrences.

We finally saw some walkers again too, which was nice.

I was a little disappointed with how they "reintroduced" Merle though. Not quite what I expected, but we'll see if anything more develops in the future.

They NEED to move on already with the story, they have waisted 4 episodes on the farm, they only have a limited amount of episodes for the season.

They have already deviated from the comic in many ways, so who knows what's next?

How haven't they moved on with the story? They've shown Lori is pregnant, Glenn is in love, Shane is going off the deep end, daryl feels like he has to live up to Merle's expectations, ect.

I'm sure everyone of these things will have some sort of significant effect on and episode (or episodes) later in the season.

Shows don't have to be filled with ass kicking 24/7, except for Walker Texas Ranger.

What is this? Young & the Restless??

Lori needs to get bitten.
Glenn needs to get bitten.
Shane needs to get bitten.
Darryl need to shoot all three of them in the head.

Get on with it!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, you want most of them to die. Noted from the past 17 posts saying the same thing. Can we move on now?? :p

To change the subject a bit - when Darryl was hallucinating and such and came around to the first zombie, was that thing chomping on his ankle or was it just starting to attack him? I kind of missed that brief part but it almost looked as though the thing had already bitten him..

I believe just started to nibble on his boot?

My daughter & myself were going to be really pissed if they killed Darryl. He is one of the best characters in the show, in our opinions. He was never in the comic, so who knows hows that's going to play out?

They are giving Darryl a lot of depth, rather than in season 1 where he was a stereotypical redneck hunter.

I really like the sub plot of the veterinarian's daughter and the young Asian American guy knocking boots. I can only imagine how a young woman would feel being stuck on her daddy's farm with the world pretty much destroyed, and no chance for any love, romance, or just some nasty sex!:D Those two characters getting together and sharing some time just strikes me as a very human response to their situation.

We missed that too. When the scene opened it sure looked like he was getting chomped. But I was busy repairing a busted nut on my acoustic while trying to watch - so I figured I just didn't look up in time to get a full idea of what was going on - but my wife was watching attentively and missed that too...

No one. Darryll just had his boot chewed on, though realistically, as effed up as he was, wearing zombie ears around his neck was asking for infection. Matter of fact, spatter should have done him in.

Still, I'm glad he didn't die, he's pretty much my favorite character at this point. ]

And I KNEW something was up with farm owner... Next week ought to be interesting.

Those rules don't apply in this show. People have been bashing skulls in with their mouths open and nothing has happened to them. Honestly that's my own big gripe with the show (but its not really a big one).

So you busted your nut while you were watching it? :ninja:
