Minimum would be about $50 worth of equipment, but that's if you shop around a bit. Budget $75 including shipping and stuff to be more realistic.
Ingredients would run $20-$50 for 5 gallons depending on what sort of beer.
You'll need bottles, of course, but you can reuse the ones you're drinking from now unless they're twist-off caps.
and to wrap up the weekend, a sixer of Leffe Blonde.
Got that whole "belgian yeast" thing going on, but not heavy. Bit rich-tasting for a session beer, but a couple would be nice on a sunny day.

Well it's a 2010 bottle, but I think they should rename it only Weizenbock grande cuvée.
A: Deep ruby red color, perfectly translucent. Head is tan, foamy, quite big and has a strong retention. Strong level of lacing.
S: Big malts come from the nose. Lots of caramel, molasses and toffee. A bit toasted. Also, huge presence of biscuit malts. Some bread. Also, very fruity. There is red apples, dark cherries, grape, raspberries. A bit of nuts present in the smell. Alcohol is very present though. Sweet and juicy smell. Powerful
T: Yet again, malts dominate here. Very bready taste with a lot of sweetness: caramel, toffee, chocolate, molasses, licorice. Strong fruits presence too: red apples, dark cherries, raisins mostly. Biscuit malts are still very present but the toasted characteristics come out more than in the smell. Nuts are still present as well as some buttery taste. Some spices are there too: nutmeg, cinnamon. Too much alcohol present, but that's somewhat expected from a 11 ABV brew. In short, sweet, malty and fruity, well executed and quite balanced.
M: Big, huge, chewy, syrupy, bold. The words lack. One of the most impressive and intimidating beer I had the chance to drink. Low carbonation.
D: Immense beer, very sweet and lots of alcohol. One 750 will be plenty enough
Scores: look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 5 | drink: 2.5 (all /5)

My go-to beer has been and likely will be for the foreseeable future Ommegang's Abbey Ale. I'm a big fan of Ommegang in general, I sometimes mix it up a bit and go for their Three Philosophers. With the summer heat setting in, I just tried their Hennepin to lighten things up a bit. Just what I hoped for, still lots of great taste, just a bit lighter and less alcohol.
Other summer stuff might include breaking out the Spaten Oktoberfest. Speaking of, I've been meaning to try the Optimator for a while, and also that Brother Thelonious Abbey Ale.

... and just had a wonderful Sunday involving loud rock-and-roll, surprise Sabbath jams, fast cars, unexpected meetings with friends, mexican food, margaritas ... and to top it all, discovering four bottles of Pliny The Elder sitting in the fridge.

I couldn't stand the taste of that one at all. Way to malty for my liking.
Currently drinking though a Breckenridge sampler 12 pack. It's pretty damn tasty stuff to say the least. An amber ale, a vanilla porter, an oatmeal stout, and an IPA I just cracked open. So tasty...

Just picked up a big bottle of that. Once the woman gets back from her trip we're gonna crack it open.
Unser Bier, the local brew of Basel, Switzerland is ****ing phenomenal. If you're over there, get yourself to a bar/cafe called Mitte. The only beer on tap is Unser Bier, but it's really friggin' good.
