I had this one presented to me last night:
And it was delicious.
I've seen that before and am curious. Is it very sweet/malty?

It is sweet, but it tastes just like Banana bread. Liquid banana bread. Its a very smooth drink, with a medium weight to it.
I realize that sounds farfetched, but if you've ever had the Shipyard Pumpkinhead, it is similar in texture (the obvious difference being that Pumpkinhead tastes like pumpkin bread),
I'd recommend it if you enjoy the taste banana bread.

here is the review:
One year old bottle, dunno what to expect.
A: Pours black, not fully opaque. Aggressive pour does not give a head at all.
S: Some nice roasted characteristics. Eventually, lots of coffee notes in this. A nice malty sweetness backbone: brown sugar, maple syrup and toffee mostly.
T: Lots of coffee in this. Roasted malts are very predominant. A nice sweetness: brown sugar, maple and toffee like in the smell. Some mineral notes in the water, mix well. A bit of smoke. Pretty straightforward, not as strong as expected.
M: Mid body, low low carbonation. Wish it had a bit more carbonation.
D: Very easy to drink, very sessionable. It's nicely balanced.
look: 1.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 2 | drink: 4.5 (all /5)

Troeggs Nugget Nectar
A bit hoppy for my tastes (although I generally dislike hoppy beers) but very good. They know how to brew some beer there.

Coors and Extra Gold are my go to cheap domestic beer. Decent tasty yellow bubbly water.
Dogfish Head 60-Minute IPA.
Yum. But for some strange reason, more than a couple IPA's gives me a headache. Weird. And it sucks too, cause I love IPA's

If you like extreme hops and high alcohol content, you HAVE to find a bomber of Southern Teirs' Gemini. It is an unfiltered blend of their 2 hoppiest beers, Unearthly and Imperial Hoppe. Believe me, this will be in your top 3 favorite IPA's of all time! It is a seasonal release so hurry and get one, you'll PM me to personally thank me later!
