The what beer are you drinking (and or rating) thread.

What I am currently drinking isn't strictly a beer, but it seems silly making a whole new thread for ciders.

I am currently drinking (and highly rating!)...

This is just a perfect cider for dessert time. A quick smell draws in the alluring scent of sweet apples and toffee that dance delicately across the olfactory senses. The promising aromas are not let down by the taste. A quick sip immediately gives you that sweet apple taste, which combines with the drink's carbonation to create a bubbly sensation on the tongue. Immediately this is followed by the warm flowing taste of toffee. It's like a sauce washing over and quenching the bubbles that previously washed over your tongue so tantalisingly.

This drink will be most enjoyed much like a dessert wine, at the end of the meal, and not as a regular drink. If you enjoy a drier flavour from your cider (like me) then you will not enjoy drinking copious amounts of the stuff, but as an occasionally treat then it really hits the spot.

My overall rating would be a heady 4/5.

For those of you in the UK: you can currently pick up a bottle of this for only £1 at Morrisons.

I'll get rotten fruit thrown at me for this, but ...

I love tasting different, rich beers. But I am rediscovering a simple beer that has been out there for a long time. Don't shoot me, but - I'm actually finding a nice, cold Colt 45 is a very satisfying, crisp beer.

There's nothing wrong with a cold, crisp domestic malt liquor of your chosing. Twist that 40 and fire up that blunt.
