I'm killing a 4 pack of Flying Dog's Double Dog Ale, (very strong stuff at 11.5% ABV.) and then topping it off with a 22oz. bottle of Double Bastard Ale. Love that stuff!

Damn, that some serious week day drinking. Thread derail- as a fellow serious drinker, are you as angry as I they have remade Arthur and have the gall to cast Russell Brand in Dudley Moore's iconic role?

More smoked porter from my keg. I need to finish this up before it gets too warm outside.

My brewing gear is still buried under piles of crap after the house move. I've been having to buy beer for eight months now - it's horrible!

The Spaten ran out, and there was a sixer of this lurking in the fridge...

Life isn't that bad after all ...

I am on the last seasonal 6er available that I can find of Lagunitas Hairy Eyeball Ale....9.0 ABV-Dark Ruby Red,More sweet than hoppy. Bell's Hopslam....Tastes like it sounds-It's a WONDERFUL Imperial IPA,But at $18.00 a 6er,I only treat myself to 1 [Maybe 2] 6ers a year. It is also a late winter seasonal & is a hefty 10.0 ABV....I could go on & on [Lagunitas Maximus & Lagunitas Hop Stoopid IPAs] Oh,how I love beer....Nectar of the Gods....Try this one-Flying Dog Raging Bitch Belgian Style IPA....Made with Belgian yeast that gives it a totally unique flavor for an IPA....8.3 ABV None of these brews are for "Fizzy Yellow Water" drinkers....Cheers!!

In all actuality, I had no idea this was happening. If it does happen I'd probably never watch it. You can't redo a classic like that without some serious raping of the original film.

Just had a Cantillon Gueuze and Russian River Pliny the Elder.

Gotta love the sour horseblanket funk of the Gueuze and the hop bomb that is Pliny the Elder.

I will be frequently rating beers (it's what I do for a living after all) on here and invite everyone else to join me in good brew chat.

Cheers,

Mike

Pliny kicks butt, but I like Bell's Hopslam even more....;)
