As far as wheat beers, I like Weihenstephaner hefewiess dark. It's pretty tasty, if you're on a wheat beer quest you may wanna try it.
I've got a couple of these, Spitfire Kentish Ale, it used to have a little sediment at the bottom of the bottle back in the day, which I thought was a nice touch, I see they have cleaned it up recently though. Strong ale, very full taste, with a little bite.
I've been on the White Wine a lot recently, I find the tannin in the darker beers can be a bit of a thud in the morning, such is life ; )

I just had a Session black lager. It's okay. Not spectacular, but drinkable. Now I'm doing the Shiner Black Lager. It's a little better than the Session to me, but not by much, really. I guess having Ayinger Celebrator as my benchmark for judging dark lagers sets the bar too high. The only place around here to get Celebrator is at the local German restaurant where it's on tap and in an official brewery glass. Hmmm, I'm getting a taste for some schnitzel........
I usually hit Barley and Hops, sometimes Sharp Edge but I will definitely stop by there tomorrow.
Quick sixer of Trader Joe's own-brand Bock I picked up on the way home.

Droool, I had Spitfire pulled from a cask in England... that stuff is awesome.
My wife just got back from Kenya Last night and brought me back four pints of Tusker Lager. The bottles are beat to hell because, apparently, recycling is not melting the glass back down, it's sterilizing (hopefully) and re-filling. I've got them chilling right now (well, two of them) and I intend to indulge this evening.... and reuse the bottles when it comes time to bottle the homebrew.
Always better from the tap I find too, as with most of the beers. Spitfire's got a nice touch to it, I'll say that ; )
A couple of these at the moment, to freshen up a bit.
