Best chicken for metal
one summer day a few years back i woke up took my dogs out. and there is a peacock on my porch. keep in mind i live in a decent sized city. right on a very busy main road...here is this 4 ft tall peacock.. it stayed most the summer. i feed it oatmeal and crackers.. it mostly sat on my porch. literally day after it left , a brown hen showed up and stayed for a bit . and laid eggs
My niece got a bunch of chicks, and ended up with about 60% roosters. I told her you need to get rid of some roosters before the law thinks you're cockfighting.
As for the giant metal rooster - that beats the one I've seen. Not one, but TWO houses, a mile or two apart, in our neighborhood have these six foot tall metal rooster decorations. They're not just frames like that, but fully enclosed. When I saw it my first thought was, '***? and my second was If I WANTED to put one of those things in my yard, I wouldn't even know WHERE to go get one."
