I had one older guy call my gentle Ben, which was funny because it wasn't because he knew my name, it was because he said I looked like the bear from the tv show.
Ug. They'd have to be some pretty slutty 4-year olds. I think society usually frowns on 4-year olds getting frisky and having kids that young.
I like the bars with the waitresses/barkeeps that call you "hon," or things like that.
One of them used to call me Alex P. Keaton. That's because I looked like Jason Bateman (from Valerie/Valerie's Family/The Hogans/The Hogan Family) and she was easily confused by two different TV sitcoms. Ditsy, but fun, she was...
I've been called bass guy, Bigfoot, a-hole, and slappy. Those are the memorable ones at least. One time I thought the waitress called me senior ID And occasionally someone calls me a cab.
Clean. The last band smelled so bad the wait staff gagged every time that got close to them! LOL.
I am a hobbyist/hack, but the other day the club owner at a place I do an open mic greeted me at the door and said "Hey, Low-End". Put a smile on my face for awhile. heh.
The sad thing is that he had no idea that you play bass, and was insulting you. If you have to ask....
I've been called "four-banger" and "the other guitar player". I didn't like the last one very much.
I usually get "the young guy with the beard".
But I'm pushing 40.
The other members look like the local nursing home had a "take your dad to work" day.......
But it's all cool. They can all outplay me anyway, and age means nothing in a blues band.
