My stove. It is electric. Each burner has a knob with numbers on them. The burners go from melting ice on a warm day when set to 1, to burn the house down on 10. Unfortunately, the rest of the numbers don't mean anything, as it is one or the other and nothing in between.
New elements will probably cure that problem. I have a glass top the elements are either on or off, the computer decides how long the burners are on; they turn on and off intermittently BY DESIGN, annoying stove.
If the oven still works for Lasagna, then all is good.

Sounds like you're in the middle of nowhere..
I am too easily influenced when I drive. I was approaching a crossroad and wondered if I should proceed straight through it. Then I saw a sign that said "NO U TURN", so I did.
I have noted that that seem to annoy a lot of people, having to make decisions.
I keep seeing a video on social media today of an Airbus A380 landing in a heavy crosswind. People keep commenting on how brave and skilled the pilot is (f0r £100k + he better be, right?) and how amazing the landing was.
********. Those aircraft are bristling with technology, and it looks like the pilot is fighting the computers all the way down, putting in clumsy, sluggish rudder inputs all the way. The back end of the A380 is more slippery than a wet fish, and the pax and crew back there must have been bouncing around all over the joint. The pilot keeps over-compensating for the last input, and the thing is oscillating wildly. I get the whole 'any landing you can walk away from' thing, but this is clumsy flying from somebody who needs to get back into the sim. If nothing else it makes me wonder how skilled modern pilots are when the aircraft stops doing the bulk of the work and some creativity and tangential thinking is required in the cockpit. For every Sully there must be many of the generic 'Boeing driver' grunts who are little more than bus drivers with a 3rd dimension to play with. Plus, if you are flying outwith the envelope of the A380, go land somewhere else! Don't let your judgement get behind the aircraft, or the mild hero status you will get when you get the aircraft on the ground.
If nothing else I hope they swept the runway for debris.

When a person acts like a friend when you're around & when you're not they talk a load of bull about you. I guess they call that a frenemy these days. I can't abide those.
When I have an appointment & arrive on time, only to wait an hour for the actual transaction to transpire.
(happened just this morning)
Waiting for UPS literally all day yesterday & they never showed.
or worse, if I'm waiting for a package & I wait all day, except for the 20 minutes where I go out & find a note on my door when I get home that they tried to deliver
Normally I set my deliveries to will call, but it does happen to me sometimes that I can't, which is in itself really annoying.
