Things that annoy you

Every now and then me and three of my co-workers go out for drinks after work. They don't drive. I do, so every time we've done this, I'll drive. That means I'm not drinking and after a still relatively fun night out which follows a long day of work, I have to drive three people home. I don't have to, but I do. So tomorrow night I decided I wanna get drunk so I'm taking an Uber to and from work. Figure it'll cost me about 40 bucks for transportation. Whatever. It's 40 bucks and I can do what I want. No big deal.

Aaand now something suddenly came up for everyone. Odd coincidence.

Is it because you didn't mention you'd foot the uber fare or that your co-workers aren't ready for drunken Gorn with a lampshade on his lizardly head yet?

Ok, you know what annoys me?

Verbal snipers! :spit:

Example 1. You're eating something, and as soon as a verbal sniper sees what you're eating, this is what they say:

Egg salad? EGG SALAD! Do you know how bad this is for you? Do you know how much cholesterol... :rollno:

or...

It's raining. You say, "I hate rainy days!"

Then, the sniper says, "You don't like rainy days? What's the matter with you? If we didn't have rain, nothing would grow, there would be no water to drink..."

As if they're the sage of the world.

They are almost the same as after the fact people; you know, the ones who never try to solve a problem, but after someone else does, they say, "I was going to say/do the same thing!"

You are free to be annoyed now.

Mike :)

I'm annoyed at medical professional offices who want you to arrive early for appointments - just schedule the appointment for the time I'm supposed to be there!!!!! AAAAARGH! :banghead:

Someone who has been in the news every day for the past 16 months eats steak often and likes it "so well done the edges curl".

Its a sign of poor taste. To me, eating a burnt steak surrounded by "gold" furniture is like a version of hell.

I know! It's akin to the previous guy not having command of the language despite his superior education. They all suck in some way so we should not let them do anything more under the guise of helping anyone.

my hands seem to be cramping up a little so i'm kinda limited in the neck profile and string stiffness that i can comfortably play, therefore i'm a little irritated that the likelihood of me finding a lower priced L1000 or L2000 with the right neck profile and medium low action is gonna take a while
