I've never seen those.
We got similar canisters of chips. The canisters were brown and they were Charles Chips brand.
Was in Chicago for a wedding in the LaSalle building - the breakfast the next morning at the Marriot across the street that we stayed at was really good. No shortage of excellent bacon
I remember shoestring potatoes coming in cans like that.

Full service gas stations. Buy gas, get your front and rear windows cleaned, oil checked and tire pressure checked.
In 1969 as a 17 yr old kid, I used to work at a Sohio Gas station in Columbus, Ohio. Many, many times, a car would pull up to a pump, order $1.00 of gas and would ask me to do windows, oil and air! (Gas was .32 cents a gallon.)
We don't see full service gas stations anymore............."Do it yourself!"

Unless you are in NJ. That threw me for a loop the one time I needed to get gas on the interstate there. Had no idea what the guy was saying to me, lol.
There is somewhat of a shag revival going on. Guys are building 60 van conversions with shag inside. I sold a cassette player deck to one looking
for period correct stuff in one build.
Buy enuff to get through NJ. Only stop for junk food.
It's funny how some companies used to advertise a lot on TV, but you never see commercials from them anymore. I had to Google "O-Cedar" to see if they were still in business (they are).

I had one of those. In high school I painted two walls in my room bright red and the other two black. We bought an unfinished desk and bookshelf and I painted it red. Added two inch black and red shag carpet!
For some reason mom and dad made me keep my door shut.
And then we painted florescent stars on the ceiling lit with black lights.
