I have a couple of those around here somewhere...
Your dad and his friend did you a big favor. You leaned the value of hard work and the rewards it bring. You got a lot more than some nice gear.I didn't need to see these! One of my first jobs after school was a bar back ( for those who don't know a bar back stocks the behind the bar) Anyway it was a Italian Restaurant a friend of my Dad's, Part of my job was going into the wine cellar where cases of beer, Kegs and these wooded cases of glass bottled soda were. I had to pick them up and carry them upstairs and empty them then bring them back downstairs as you can see these boxes are heavy without glass bottles. Busted my hump= brand new Gibson Ripper, Ampeg SVT with 2 8*10 cabinets
Yeah muscles ha ha haYour dad and his friend did you a big favor. You leaned the value of hard work and the rewards it bring. You got a lot more than some nice gear.![]()
Anybody remember around the time of the Charles Atlas ads, there was another bodybuilder (I think Weider but not sure), that had ads for a bar like thing you pushed and pulled 0n, with a very specific name? Been trying to remember but can't. Was 60s/70s stuff.
