Not familiar with those. I do remember stealing lots of my older brothers tapes and plugging the tops (the two little dips on each side) with paper towel or covering them with electrical tape so I could record over them

Edit: I had a friend with a 59 in HS. We called it the bat mobile.
Mom & Dad bought a 1960 Country Squire (that's the way it's spelt) wagon. They got it with safety locks on the back doors that I dismantled. I was 4.

I just sold my 1977 Pioneer SX-737 but I still have a 1980 Sherwood CP-8600 that I occasionally use.

My first tape recorder was a Westinghouse reel to reel player/recorder just like this one. The tape would only run for maybe 10 minutes. I still have it.

when I was in high school I had a 55 Chevy with a starter button on the floor that looked like the high beam switch...it was between the brake and clutch levers.

and a couple years later, a blue metallic '66 with black vinyl top near identical to this one
