Do you guys remember these? Spinning them around and around looking for a dry and/or clean spot?

I definitely remember this, and also the fact that many offered "savings stamps" (S&H were the most popular) and frequent premiums of various kinds, including glassware (one glass per fill-up, could purchase the pitcher anytime) or toys.Yeah! I remember my dad didn't even get out of the car. He would just pull up to the pump and two guys would run out to the car. By the time one had filled the tank the other had checked and inflated the tires and checked up the oil. Gas was way cheaper AND it gave a lot of people their first job.
