Well, it is funny....Yeah. Turns out it might be a modification of a Mutron ad. I never saw the original. But as another TB poster put it, who knows? With Stevie’s talents,

Yeah, looks like frostbite bit here. StrangeThat dummy was scary enough. This puppet coming up must be a relative of his. This was one of the very few things I disliked about Mr. Rogers. She always reminded me of Dr. Smith from Lost in Space.

Judging from the skits he did on SNL, I think Stevie would find the parody ad funny as well...Well, it is funny....
It’s an evil device created some time in the early 1960s designed to lure ignorant children into broadcasting the contents of their stomachs for benefit of chipmunks and squirrels into suburban back yards.
