I still have a Fostex 4-track.
Sugar pie, honey bunch; I can't help myself. Set me up and I will take the opportunity every time.
A band I was in the early 80s bought a Fostex 4 track recorder like this one. It cost abou $1,500 and we had to get a bank loan in my name to pay for it. I still have cassette tapes of original songs we recorded on it. We used to record the bass and drum tracks together and had to make sure we were tight and no mistakes.

Yeah that’s how the magic was made in the 60’s! Real musicians making real music! Auto-tune need not apply! Ha!
