Dusty Hill was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 19, 1949. He and his older brother, Rocky Hill (also a musician), were raised in East Dallas. Dusty and Rocky!

Yup. My first gig out of the house was a "Battle of the Bands" at Motor City Roller Rink. Two guitars and drums.
We used a Heathkit guitar amp for the two guitars (one was a Crestwood copy of a Ric 12) and vocals...no bass in that band. We didn't win but we had fun. Did mainly Beatles songs.

I saw Lennon's Mellotron at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame last year. They had a nice Beatles Exhibit!
Until today, this puppy. I’m ready to lay $20 this is my old cabinet from way back when. I recognize all the tears and pokes in the cover because I made them. 
A ‘72 Traynor Guitar 2x12 cab (but at the time mine had bass EVs. I loved it at the time. It’s now being sold at a KC GC that’s almost 2000 miles from me.
