If it's good enough to protect Superman from Kryptonite it's good enough to protect humanity from tooth decay.
I used to work at a magnetic instrument, (fixtures, magnetizers, measurement equipment, etc...), prototype shop in the early '70s.And they said I was wrong for not wanting to brush my teeth!!
They has housewives employed there assembling PC boards and I remember that one used to hold the solder in her mouth kinda gnawing on it while inserting components into the board. I wonder how she is doing these days.

That’s crazy! I worked as an Electronic Design Engineer for 30+ years and I designed and hand built many PC prototypes. For most of those years we used leaded solder and I inhaled the smoke fumes while mounting components.
Lead was in everything when I was growing up…gasoline, paint, tooth paste tubes, solder, toys! Probably a lot more stuff too.

My dad didn’t have his glasses on one rushed morning. These two tubes were side by side on the sink. He was trying to brush his teeth. Guess which one he grabbed and found out the hard way.
Actually just used mine; I put a Kodak 9v in it at some point which still works. Then I grabbed a Mar 2015 Duracell for one of my tuners, the Duracell barely had any juice left.
“Atom Bomb” perfume, trademarked by Jergens in 1948, came in a rocket-shaped bottle. (Its bottle cap looks a bit like a Devo hat)
