I just recently watched it for the first time in ages...
These were all a part of my growing up. I remember my mom giving us $.15 to go to school with, the first few years. We'd pass the candy store on the way to, and get something. Then it upped to $.25, $.30, and I think $.50 by 1975. I went to catholic school where they were pretty strict about the no candy thing, so we used to buy cough drops and when we got caught would say, "cough drop!", to which the nuns would say, "ok".
I wonder how many of these still exist. I know the cough drops do, but in different boxes. I remember when the NEW menthol eucalyptus Vicks came out. I HAD to have them, and the ice blue ones.

Did anyone here actually use the front "brake" successfully without doing a face plant? I was never able to master that one.
