Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

Not that I think anybody really cares, but I went to (and dropped out of) the HS that show is supposed to be set in (the one in the beginning of the show, New Utrecht HS in Bensonhurst Bkln.). All my friends were also in the "sweathog" program they had at New Utrecht, which was at that time called alternate school. I was a little smarter than them, and didn't land there, but they all graduated :). I took the GED at 17, and considered myself FREE. about 10 yrs later I became a teacher, and actually taught there for a short while. Yes, I had the welcome back song playing in my head every day.

Ahhhh, dirty Jerzey. I went to first grade in Belleville. You could see the twin towers from my bedroom window. Went to school there in first grade. Remember living there when Star Wars came out. I got attacked by a dog on the way home from school and he ran off with one of my shoes. That's about all I remember regarding Belleville.
